State of Florida Produced Most 2010 NFL Draft Picks

37 states combined to produce 254 of the 255 players selected in the 2010 NFL Draft, with no state producing more NFL players than the Sunshine State.

Florida pumped out 34 draft picks in this year's class, including three players from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale. (Geno Atkins, 4th round, Cincinnati; Major Wright, third round, Chicago; Sam Young, 6th round, Dallas)

Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach produced fifth-round defensive backs Walter McFadden (Oakland) and Joshua Moore (Chicago), while Pine Forest High School in Pensacola yielded guard Mike Johnson (Atlanta, 3rd round) and defensive end George Selvie (7th round, St. Louis).
