Raheem Brock Signs With the Titans

Free agent defensive end Raheem Brock will sign with the Tennessee Titans today, his agent, Andy Simms, announced.

The 32-year old Brock was a seventh-round pick (238th overall) out of Temple by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002. Cut by the Eagles, Brock was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts, where he became a full-time starter by 2003.

In 120 games (103 starts) over the last eight seasons, Brock has 287 tackles and 28.5 quarterback sacks. Brock added 42 tackles and a pair of quarterback sacks in 16 playoff games (12 starts), and was released by the Colts on March 5 with one-year and $4.29 million remaining on a five-year, $23.6 million contract extension he signed in 2006.

Brock visited the Houston Texans on Wednesday, but did not sign a contract.

Prior to signing Brock, the Titans were down to just three healthy defensive ends with the pre-season opener 48 hours away.
