Packers, Mike Neal Agree to Terms

Green Bay Packers second-round defensive lineman Mike Neal announced on Twitter that he had agreed to terms.

Those terms were not disclosed, but Neal did implore first-round offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga to do the same.

"Agreed to terms! Let's go @BBulaga!", Neal tweeted.

A two-year starter at Purdue University, Neal totaled 99 tackles, including 26 for a loss and 13 quarterback sacks, from the “3” technique defensive tackle position during his career.

The 6-3, 294-pounder ran well (4.8-40) at the Combine, and put up 31 reps on the 225-pound bench press.

A tough, hard-nosed player, Neal will play the “5” technique end position in the Packers’ 3-4 defense. With Johnny Jolly’s season-long suspension, Neal will be looked at to provide immediate depth behind starters Ryan Pickett and Cullen Jenkins
