LeGarrette Blount Changes Mind, Signs With Titans

After initially agreeing to terms with the San Francisco 49ers, undrafted free agent running back LeGarrette Blount has changed his mind and will instead sign with the Tennessee Titans, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports.

Suspended for 10 games last season by Oregon head coach Chip Kelly for punching a Boise State University after a game, Blount was under an intense microscope during the draft process, and did not hear his name called on either of the draft's three days.

Wilson report does state that Blount discussed the situation with his family, Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, and explained his decision to 49ers head coach Mike Singletary.

The 49ers depth chart at the top is well set with Frank Gore, Glen Coffee, and Michael Robinson, and power-back Anthony Dixon (Mississippi State) was selected in the sixth round. With no back on the roster weighing more than 205 pounds, the Titans, who traded 6-1, 235-pound LenDale White to the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, are a better opportunity for the 6-1, 241-pound Blount.

I'm tracking the list of undrafted free agents right here.
