Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with fifth-round pick Ricky Sapp.

Caplan says the four-year deal is worth over $2 million dollars.

Sapp (6-4, 252) succeeded the late Gaines Adams, who would have turned 27 years old today, at the "Bandit" position at Clemson University. In 50 career games, including 36 starts, Sapp posted 142 tackles, including 38 for a loss and 17.5 quarterback sacks. Sapp also broke up a pair of passes. Sapp earned second-team All-SEC honors after the 2009 season, and was nominated for the conference's Brian Piccolo Award, given to the SEC's "Most Courageous Player".

Sapp's draft stock feel in large part to a partially torn right ACL in 2008.

With the Eagles, Sapp is expected to primarily play defensive end, but could see some time at linebacker, rushing the passer from the team's "Joker" position on third downs.

Sapp is the sixth of the Eagles' 13 draft picks to sign or agree to terms, and with the addition of linebacker Simoni Lawrence earlier on Tuesday, an additional roster move will need to be made to fit Sapp on the 80-man roster.
