Dolphins Claim OT Patrick Brown Off Waivers

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Miami Dolphins have claimed offensive tackle Patrick Brown off waivers from the New York Jets.

Brown was waived on Thursday by the Jets, who travel to the Dolphins on Sunday night.

An undrafted free agent out of Central Florida, the 6-5, 310-pound Brown originally signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2009, and has had stints with the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings, where he appeared in four pre-season games before being waived on September 4.

The Jets claimed Brown off waivers, and the rookie has spent the first two games as a gameday inactive.
