Bengals LB Brandon Johnson Signs RFA Tender

Cincinnati Bengals restricted free agent linebacker Brandon Johnson has signed his one-year tender, Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Johnson was tendered at the "Second Round" level, which comes with a $1.759 million dollar base salary for 2010.

A sixth-round pick (142nd overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in 2006, Johnson has spent the past two seasons with the Bengals, starting 12 of 32 games, while racking up 141 tackles, 3 quarterback sacks and intercepting a pair of passes. 17 of Johnson's tackles have come on special teams, including 11 last season, which tied him with Abdul Hodge and Kyries Hebert for the team lead.
