The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have waived wide receiver Jason Hill.

A third-round pick (76th overall) out of Washington State in 2007, Hill (6-0, 204) has caught 40 passes for 413 yards with 4 touchdowns during his 34-game NFL career.

Released at the end of training camp, Hill re-joined the 49ers in Week 2, but has not recorded any statistics in two games he's been active.
