As with several previous wins tallied on the board, once again despite the 'W' I find myself unsatisfied, looking at the certainty that if the Pack can't step it up a couple of notches, they'll be 1 and done in the playoffs.
Why does a team with a strong running game and bruising backs attempt a pass on 3rd and 1 and fail to execute? Why can't a team with a strong line punch it into the end zone when it needs only a yard? How does a team win in the playoffs with no downfield passing game? How does a team at the professional level start the game with 3 holding penalties?
Certainly the Pack gives us some suspense and entertainment along the way, but at this level of play, which seems to be consistent, this is not the team we expected to see at the beginning of the season. I look for a short playoff experience this year.
Let's just hope they can find a way to be more consistent and start thinking about beating a 'good' team.
