Agree Reynoldo. Rodgers has three confirmed concussions and probably more that were not diagnosed. CTE is a real thing and Rodgers already has been paid guaranteed millions of dollars and set for life. He's part owner of one of the most improved NBA teams in the Milwaukee Bucks. He has so many other reasons to not care about his real job as qb of the GB Packers. He could just do a Chris Borland and end this all in a second if he wishes.

I will have to admit, I didn’t want AR playing at all these last 2 games. NOTHING was gained and too much could have been lost. I don’t have a man crush on Boyle like you do but I would have enjoyed seeing him get some snaps. His down field accuracy is impressive. I was hoping for a higher draft pick. It’s hard to believe that we were shut out, man-handled, and kicked in the teeth by the worst team in the NFL. Be safe Monday night.

Thank you Bo. You and I are on the same team in our thoughts on this divisive issue with the fan base. It gives me no pleasure to see Rodgers get a concussion. Injury and draft selection was my no. 1 and no. 2 concerns. A win was meaningless. We both know this Bo but others still are going down with the ship on this one. The concussion should have been the dagger. Apparently not.

Having been a Packers fan for over fifty years, Ive seen pretty much everything, from the top of the mountain, to the base of the hills. Today was one of those brutal moments when it becomes grimly apparent just how badly things have gone for the team this year. It was supposed to be a century celebration, instead, it was the exposure of how badly the drafts in the past few years have been, players voicing their dissatisfaction with the locker room, and a rift that became a full blown tear between our coach and star quarterback. That being said, I expect things to start getting better now. Some familiar faces will be gone, but some younger new ones will come on board, and the team will rise up again. Have some faith guys and gals. Ripping into one another wont help. GO PACK GO!!!

You just got to believe. The good thing is that this isn't like when the great turnaround began.....the Packers are in a good financial position, with an up to date facility, a franchise quarterback in place, and generally speaking viewed as a good place to go if you are a free agent player.

Well, it was fun and released some stress debating the value of winning or drafting higher. It's a good topic with value on both sides and the majority of comments were courteous with only a few exceptions where some lack vocabulary and have to use condescending words. That said, I was shocked by the poor showing today and was looking forward to watching a energy charged Packer team. In my opinion, this does not fare well for the future. I'm sure Lion fans are happier and more positive today than we are about the future. Hopefully a great off season can change this sour taste.

I thought a lot of players had plenty of reason to play well. Lancaster, M. Adams and, to a lesser extent Lowry, all had reason to play hard and as well as possible. Tony Brown and Tramon both were playing for 2019. Martinez IIRC had a shot at some records. Detroit's offense has looked terrible since they traded Golden Tate, so I was expecting the defense to come out swinging. Certainly Patrick and McCray had reason to play hard and Jamaal Williams should have been looking to build on last week. Kumerow had every reason in the world to play hard and smart, as did any other rookie receiver. A drop by Kendricks, but I thought he was playing hard. A drop by Tonyan who had every conceivable reason to play hard. Cobb, CM3 were playing for third contracts with someone.

The Packers suffered mightily for only one reason— in 2015, after a horrible start, McCarthy took back playcalling—and promptly never relinquished it.
The offense became more narrow windows that only a “great” Aaron Rodgers (not the very good one we saw all year) could thrive in (remember the marvel of the players in the preseason). For the entire year, AR12 was just a glorified Brett Farve, trying to make impossible passes and getting sucked into “reading defenses” by constantly more masterful defenses—Belichick and many others played such a beautiful mind game on Rodgers. Go back and review.
Mark my words.... Tough to find a coach that you’ll like as much as MM. wish he had brought in an OC.
On the clock with the 12th pick...

This train wreck of a season is finally over! The good news is...it won't take a total rebuild for the Packers to be competitive next year. There are still good players on the roster. We Still have a franchise QB. A fresh start with a new HC will light some fires...a new Special team coach...a couple of early draft pick OT's...it's the beginning of a new era in GB! I find that in itself to be exciting.

I know this is seldom the time for great insights but I suspect that some things are universally true in this situtauion on every bad team in the NFL, even more true when the coaching staff has been fired and that is; each player in the organiztion who intends to return next year will have to take a hard look in the mirror. Some such as Clark, D Adams, Linsley and Bahktiari will not have to stare very long but many of the others will need to do some serious soul searching- chief among them #12. As fans we do not know the internal dynamics of the team but Rodgers (the best shooting guard in the league) has lost his stroke and he needs to figure out why. Rodgers in 2018 was almost exactly like Favre in 2005, crappy play and an almost disinterest in the game. I still remember all the ink that season- that Brett had lost it and he was old and so on but a new coach and a renewed dedication permitted him to have some of his best seasons . Can the same happen to Rodgers I don't see why not but it will take that hard look in the mirror! I also suspect that Captain Thinskin will have to buy into the new coach or retire as another season like last will surely make him an ex-packer!
The team will have to get better, the offensive line was often bad this year- when healhty GB had Linsley, Bulaga, and DBak but Lane Taylor was not himself and RG was a festering wound for a good part of the season. It seems apparent Bulalga will leave requiring draft capitol to replace and an explosive TE will have to be found. I also expect a few new guard canidates to show up in GB next year as well!
Should Pettine return- Gute will have to provide him a pass rusher and some new blood at safety. TW did an admirable job but a younger athlete is required. Josh Jones needs to have a specialized role but is obvioulsy no starter, and while GB seems to have found several nice complimentary pieces to back up Clark and Daniels a stud added to those two would make it possible to have Orien Burks on the field with Martinez and not get run out of the stadium!

The Packers clearly have lost more talent over the years than they have gained. Scouts, player personnel guru’s on the rise, coordinators, coaches... which is normal. One must continue to add talent at a sufficient rate to not run flat. We pancaked personel. A lot of our coaching was stale. Hopefully they can reboot this thing. Offense has been bad for a while. Starts with the line. Then receivers need to be able to create separation. Quarterback needs to hit the open receivers. The yard sale must not hold any friendly attitudes. We need fresh blood. I would retain Matthews for cheap if he wanted to be a rotational player. Hindsight is 2020, so it’s time to move forward.
