Joe Schmit, the sports director at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis, reports that the Minnesota Vikings are not interested in free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, and will not pursue free agent Chester Pitts.

"Golfed with Rick Spielman of Vikings at Charity event. #Vikings have no interest in T.O. and will not be in the Chester Pitts sweepstakes," Schmit posted on Twitter last night.

Spielman is the Vice President of Player Personnel for the Vikings, who were mentioned as a possible destination for Pitts, a veteran guard who could compete with Anthony Herrera during training camp.

Pitts is working out for NFL teams today in Arizona.
