Titans RB LenDale White Signs RFA Tender

Tennessee Titans restricted free agent running back LenDale White has signed his one-year tender, The Tennessean reports.

A second-round (45th overall) out of USC in 2006, White has rushed for 2,349 yards and 24 touchdowns during his four seasons in Tennessee. After serving as a back-up to Travis Henry during his rookie season, White started all 16 games in 2007, gaining 1,110 yards on the ground, which ranked 12th in the NFL in rushing.

White gained 773 yards and scored 15 touchdowns during a 2008 season where he split carries with first-round pick Chris Johnson, and last season, a slimmer White had just 64 carries for 222 yards and three touchdowns as Johnson became the sixth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season.

The Titans tendered White at the second-round level, which includes a $1.759 million dollar base salary.
