Earlier today, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reported that the Washington Redskins were expected to trade defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth on Friday, and that the likely destination was the Tennessee Titans.

Tonight, Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt shot down the rumor, The Tennessean reports.

"It's a dead issue", Reinfeldt said.
