St. Louis Blues CEO Headed to the Seahawks

St. Louis Blues CEO Peter McLoughlin is leaving the club to take an unspecified executive-level position with the Seattle Seahawks, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

McLoughlin had been with the Blues for four years, and oversaw the business operations of the Blues and Scottrade Center, responsibilities that mesh with those that Seahawks' outgoing CEO Tod Leiweke handled for Paul Allen's sports business ventures.

Leiweke, a St. Louis native, is leaving the 'Hawks to accept a CEO/minority ownership position with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning. Leiweke has been actively involved in the search for his replacement.
