Seahawks Express Preliminary Interest in Terrell Owens

Steve Wyche of NFL.com reports the Seattle Seahawks are among a list of several teams who have expressed "preliminary interest" in free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens.

Wyche adds that the Seahawks may no longer be interested in the 36-year old wide receiver now that they've added Golden Tate during the 2010 NFL Draft, which suggests that the Seahawks' interest in T.O. is not very recent.

Owens caught 55 passes for 829 yards and 5 touchdowns during his one season with the Buffalo Bills, and is reportedly seeking a contract that will pay him $5 million dollars this season. The Seahawks already have two receivers on the wrong side of 30 earning $5 million dollar salaries, and it's unlikely that they would add a third.
