New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins will undergo an MRI on his knee today, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports.

Jenkins injured his knee during Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Florio adds that the injury involves Jenkins' kneecap, not the ligaments, and that Jenkins is expected to be fine.

A first-round pick out of Ohio State in 2009, Jenkins has 62 tackles, 1 quarterback sack, two interceptions, and is tied for the team lead with 12 passes defensed.
