Mike Jurecki of XTRA 910 in Phoenix reports that Arizona Cardinals guard Deuce Lutui recently weighed in at nearly 400 pounds.

"FYI... Deuce Lutui has tipped the scale at 396 lbs; it’s not surprising considering he missed the entire off season work out program", Jurecki tweeted early Thursday evening.

A restricted free agent, Lutui was not a participant in the team's off-season program, and did not sign his one-year tender until June 14, after the Cardinals' "Organized Team Activity" sessions and mini-camps were over.

Lutui has been a starter for 56 of his 62 regular season games since being chosen with the 41st overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft out of USC. With the addition of Alan Faneca this off-season, Lutui will have to win the starting right guard job in a three-way battle with Reggie Wells and Rex Hadnot.
