Ravens FB Le'Ron McClain Signs RFA Tender

Baltimore Ravens restricted free agent fullback Le'Ron McClain has signed his one-year tender, the club announced on Wednesday.

A fourth-round pick (137th overall) out of Alabama in 2007, McClain was tendered at the "First Round" level, and will earn a $2.396 million dollar base salary in 2010.

The 6-0, 260-pound McClain has started 41 of 48 regular season games over the last three seasons, and has gained 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground, including a team-high 902 yards during the 2008 season.

McClain has added 49 receptions for 319 yards and 5 touchdowns as a receiver, and has three tackles on special teams.

McClain has earned Pro Bowl honors after each of the last two seasons, and was first-team All-Pro in 2008. In addition to seeking a long-term contract from the Ravens, McClain would like to get more carries, launching a "McClain 4 RB" campaign on Twitter.

McClain was the last of the Ravens' 15 restricted free agents to sign his tender.
