Ravens Agree to Terms With LB Sergio Kindle

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they have agreed to terms with second-round linebacker Sergio Kindle.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Kindle will not play in 2010, and instead will be placed on the team's "Reserve/Non-Football Injury" list. There are questions about whether or not Kindle's brain injury will allow him to continue his football career.

A two-year starter at the University of Texas, the 6-3, 250-pound totaled 151 tackles (33.5 for a loss) with 16.5 quarterback sacks during his Longhorns’ career.

Kindle played strong-side linebacker until late in the 2008 season, when he was first-team All-Big 12 selection, before moving up-front to the “Buck” position on the left side of the Longhorns’ defensive line. Kindle was a second-team All-Big 12 selection as a defensive end last season, and was the first player to ever be named a finalist for the Butkus Award (top LB) and Hendricks Award (top DE) in the same season.
