Quinn Pitcock to Work Out for the Seahawks
By admin
Free agent defensive lineman Quinn Pitcock, waived by the Indianapolis Colts ear, will work out today for the Seattle Seahawks, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports.
A third-round pick out of Ohio State by the Indianapolis Colts in 2007, Pitcock abruptly retired in July of 2008. After two years, Pitcock notified the Colts of his intent to make a comeback, and the Colts waived him from their "Reserve/Did Not Report" list earlier this week, giving the former Buckeye a chance to work out for other NFL teams.
The 6-2, 299-pound Pitcock appeared in nine games as a rookie, making one start and totaling 18 tackles and 1.5 quarterback sacks.
Today is a scheduled day off for the Seahawks players.
