PFT: Saban Bars NFL Teams From Practices

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports that Alabama head coach Nick Saban is following through on his threat to limit the availability NFL scouts have to his team's practices.

According to PFT, some NFL teams have been advised that their scouts are not welcome on campus, but that Saban may open the doors to practice on a limited basis.

How limiting the access NFL teams have to practices benefits the kids that Saban coaches and recruits is beyond me. If I were Mark Ingram, Julio Jones, Marcell Dareus, or Mark Barron, I'm not sure I'd want to consult with a head coach who shut the NFL out regarding my decision to forgo my final year of eligibility.
