PFT: Bengals Sign WR Terrell Owens

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports that the Cincinnati Bengals have signed veteran free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens.

Per PFT.com, Owens will receive a $2 million dollar base salary, and can earn an additional $2 million via incentives. Owens was reportedly seeking a $5 million dollar contract earlier this off-season.

A 1996 third-round pick (89th overall) out of Tennessee-Chattanooga by the San Francisco 49ers, Owens has caught 1,006 passes for 14,951 yards and 144 touchdowns during his 14-year career, which has been spent with the 49ers (1996-2003), Philadelphia Eagles (2004-05), Dallas Cowboys (2006-08), and Buffalo Bills (2009).

Owens (6-3, 226) is a six-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro selection. Owens turns 37 in December (7th, same day as yours truly), and caught 55 passes for 829 yards and 5 touchdowns during his one season with the Bills.
