Panthers C Ryan Kalil Headed to the Pro Bowl

New York Giants center Shaun O'Hara has officially pulled out of the 2011 Pro Bowl, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.

O'Hara made the Pro Bowl despite being foot injuries limiting him to six games this season. O'Hara is scheduled to undergo surgery on his foot/Achilles at some point this off-season.

Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil, a second alternate, will replace O'Hara on the NFC Pro Bowl roster. A second-round pick out of USC, Kalil has started 44 straight games for the Panthers, and will be making his second consecutive appearance in the Pro Bowl.

Dallas Cowboys center Andre Gurode will start at center for the NFC.
