Nike Expected to Win NFL's Apparel Rights

Darren Rovell of CNBC confirms the Sports Business Journal report that on Tuesday, Nike will present their proposal to be the official apparel supplier of the National Football League, which is expected to be approved.

Rovell adds that Reebok's ten-year agreement with the NFL ends after next season, at which point Nike will begin supplying the league's jerseys and sideline apparel.

Buffalo-based New Era is expected to replace Reebok as the official cap of the National Football League in 2012, while Under Armour continues to supply the apparel at the annual Scouting Combine.
