Lions Sign CB Paul Pratt Off Practice Squad

Chris McCoskey of the Detroit News reports the Detroit Lions have signed cornerback Paul Pratt off the practice squad.

Offensive tackle Jamon Meredith has been waived to add Pratt to the 53-man roster.

A first-year player out of the University of Nevada, Pratt (5-10, 185) joined the Lions' practice squad last November after interception two passes for the New York Sentinels of the United Football League.

Pratt posted 15 tackles and an interception for the Lions during the 2010 pre-season before being waived and re-signed to the practice squad in early September.
