Haynesworth Does Not Take Conditioning Test

Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth did not take the team's conditioning test this morning, reports Rich Campbell of the Free Lance-Star.

Haynesworth failed the test, which consists of two sets of 300-yard shuttles, on Thursday and Friday, and head coach Mike Shanahan has stated that until Haynesworth passes the test, he will not be able to practice with the team.

Reports out of Ashburn on Friday were that Haynesworth failed the first 300-yard shuttle run on Friday by one second.

As unsympathetic a figure as Haynesworth is, you can bet that the NFLPA and Shanahan's locker room are paying close attention to how the head coach is pouring lighter fluid on a fire that Haynesworth and defensive coordinator Jim Haslett were seeking to stamp out.
