Greenway Mum on Mini-Camp Inactivity

During an appearance on Paul Allen's radio show on KFAN, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway would not elaborate on why he attended, but did not participate in the team's mini-camp last weekend.

"Coach [Brad Childress] and I had a little agreement and that's all I can say about that," Greenway said, according to Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune. "You'll have to ask the head guy about that one.

"It was sort of a special situation that we had worked out and it was good...It's something that's going to stay in house."

Greenway says he is 100% and that his inactivity last weekend was not related to his contract, which will pay the 17th overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft $3.17 million dollars this upcoming season.

"Nothing like that," Greenway said if it was contractually-related. "You know that's not me."

If it's not health, and it's not money, what could possibly keep Greenway from participating in an off-season practice?

Greenway's interview with Allen can be heard via this link.
