Falcons Sign Pair of Tryout Players

The Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of cornerback Daylan Walker and quarterback Eric Ward, to undrafted free agents who tried out for the Falcons during this past weekend's mini-camp.
Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Walker (5-9, 177) totaled 152 tackles and three interceptions during his career at Arkansas State, where he was All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mention following his senior year.
Ward, an Atlanta native, finished his career at the University of Richmond as the Spiders' all-time leader in pass attempts (1,264), completions (784), completion percentage (62%), passing yards (8,969), passing touchdowns (61), and all-purpose yardage (10,375). Ward also ranks fourth on the school's all-time rushing yardage list (1,406) and third in rushing touchdowns (22).
