Free agent wide receiver Brandon Jones will visit the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, Matthew Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Jones, 27, was released by the San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday.

Signed to a five-year, $16 million contract that included $5.4 million in guarantees last off-season, the 6-2, 212-pound Jones caught one pass for 18 yards in eight games last season.

Former 49ers general manager Scot McCloughan now works in the Seahawks' personnel department.

A third-round pick out of Oklahoma by the Tennessee Titans in 2005, Jones has 113 receptions for 1,398 yards and 9 touchdowns during his 49-game career.

Barrows adds that the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders are also interested in Jones.
