Rookie free agent wide receiver Jared Perry continues to ride the roller-coaster, re-signing with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday morning.

Dave Spadaro of PhiladelphiaEagles.com reports the transaction, adding that defensive end Eric Moncur was released to add Perry to the 80-man roster.

Perry, who was teammates with Eagles 2009 first-round pick Jeremy Maclin at the University of Missouri, worked out with veteran receiver Kelley Washington for the Eagles last week. Signed to a contract that day, the Eagles released Perry on Saturday when the club signed Washington.

Perry spent the OTAs and mini-camp with the San Francisco 49ers.
