The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with sixth-round (200th overall) running back Charles Scott, Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports.
Caplan reports the four-year deal is worth $1.88 million dollars, which indicates that Scott received a signing bonus of at least $90,000.
Scott (6-0, 238) started 22 straight games for LSU before breaking his college career ended with a broken collarbone against the University of Alabama. Scott ranks seventh on the Tigers' all-time rushing yardage list (2,317) and is fourth all-time in rushing touchdowns with 32. Scott also caught 31 passes for 260 yards and 3 touchdowns during his career.
The Saline, Louisiana native was first-team All-SEC after his junior season, his first as a featured back in the offense.
Scott is the first of the Eagles' 13 picks in the 2010 NFL Draft to agree to a contract.
