Cowboys to Release C/G Cory Procter
By admin
Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News reports that the Dallas Cowboys will release restricted free agent offensive lineman Cory Procter today.
Procter was tendered at the "Second Round" level, and signed the non-guaranteed tender earlier this off-season.
Procter entered the NFL with the Detroit Lions, who signed the 6-4, 311-pound center/guard as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Montana. The Cowboy signed Procter off the Lions' practice squad late in the 2005 season. Procter made his NFL debut in 2007, and has started 13 of 44 games over the last three seasons.
