The San Diego Chargers announced the signing of wide receiver Richard Goodman off their practice squad.

Goodman (6-0, 189) caught one pass for 12 yards during the pre-season for the Chargers. The undrafted rookie from Florida State also averaged 30.6 yards on five kick returns, with a long of 51 yards, and added a pair of special teams tackles.

Goodman fills a spot on the roster vacated with Monday's placement of cornerback Fred Bennett and safety C.J. Spillman on waivers.
