San Diego Chargers linebacker Tim Dobbins has signed his one-year, restricted free agent tender, the team announced on Monday.

A fifth-round pick (151st overall) in 2006 out of Iowa State, Dobbins was tendered at the "Original Round" level, and will earn a $1.176 million dollar base salary in 2010.

In 62 career games for the Chargers, including 10 starts over the last two seasons, Dobbins has 151 tackles, one quarterback sack and a pair of interceptions. A core member of the Chargers' special teams units, Dobbins has 47 tackles, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries on special teams.

Dobbins joins running back Darren Sproles and offensive tackle Jeromey Clary as Chargers restricted free agents who have signed their one-year tenders.
