Cardinals "Waive/Injure" DE Keilen Dykes

The Arizona Cardinals have "waived/injured" defensive lineman Keilen Dykes, who suffered a partially torn triceps tendon during today's practice.

To fill his spot on the roster, the Cardinals signed John Fletcher, a 6-5, 270-pound undrafted free agent from Wyoming who spent part of the off-season with the Baltimore Ravens. Fletcher was a three-time All-Mountain West Conference selection after posting 36 tackles for a loss, including 24 quarterback sacks, during his four years at Wyoming.

Dykes (6-3, 305) has been with the Cardinals since 2008, when he signed as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia. Dykes spent his rookie season on the practice squad, where he opened the 2009 season, well. Dykes spent a month on the Cardinals' 53-man roster last season, totaling one tackle in two games he was activated.

Dykes was released and re-signed to the practice squad, and suffered a season-ending injury midway through the season.
