In addition to likely losing center Jeff Faine for the season, Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib will miss the remainder of the season with a torn tendon near his hip, Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports.

Talib was injured during Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Second-year cornerback E.J. Biggers is expected to replace Talib in the starting lineup.
