Browns RB Jerome Harrison Absent From OTA Session

After signing an injury-protection waiver and participating in workouts last week, Cleveland Browns restricted free agent running back Jerome Harrison was a no-show for today's session, Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports.
No reason for Harrison's absence from today's voluntary was given. Harrison's eight-year niece prodded Harrison in attending the workouts.
"We were just talking, and she said, 'Uncle J, just go play football.' My little niece. And I'm like, 'You're right,' " Harrison told The Plain Dealer last Thurday.
"It's what I love to do," Harrison said. "It doesn't matter the circumstances or the situation. Playing football is what I love to do and she just made it clear as day for me."
The Browns have voluntary sessions today and tomorrow, and a mandatory three-day mini-camp is scheduled for June 10-12. Harrison is one of five unsigned restricted free agents on the Browns, and would not be required to attend the mini-camp.
Browns fullback Lawrence Vickers, who signed an injury-protection waiver, does plan on attending the mini-camp.
