Broncos Sign DT Kevin Vickerson

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Denver Broncos have signed free agent defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson.

Vickerson (6-4, 320) was released on Sunday by the Seattle Seahawks, who had acquired the restricted free agent along with running back LenDale White in exchange for the two teams swapping fourth- and sixth-round picks in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Vickerson totaled three tackles this pre-season for the Seahawks, who face the Broncos in Week 2 of the regular season.

A seventh-round pick out of Michigan State by the Miami Dolphins 2005, Vickerson spent his rookie season on injured reserve, and did not appear in a game during his second season with the Dolphins. Waived prior to the 2007 season, the Titans signed Vickerson to the practice squad midway through the '07 season.

In 24 games for the Titans between 2007-09, Vickerson totaled 45 tackles, including 1.5 quarterback sack.

Vickerson has the size, strength, and athleticism to back-up at any spot along the three-man defensive line.
