The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they have waived fourth-year center Dan Santucci.

A seventh-round pick (230th overall) in the 2007 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, Santucci was waived by the Bengals after his first NFL training camp. Signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad, the Bengals quickly re-signed Santucci to their 53-man roster.

Santucci appeared in two games for the Bengals during his rookie season, but has spent the last two seasons on injured reserve with ankle and foot injuries. The 6-4, 304-pound center is signed through the 2010 season, and is scheduled to earn a base salary of $550,000.
