Bengals Sign K Clint Stitser

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agent kicker Clint Stitser, Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Rookie kicker Aaron Pettrey has been waived after converting two of his four field goal opportunities during his two-game stint with the team.

Stitser went undrafted out of Fresno State in 2009, and spent part of the 2010 off-season with the New York Jets. After missing all three of his field goal attempts during a May 27 OTA session the Jets cut him.

Signed by the Seattle Seahawks midway through the 2010 training camp, Stitser connected on his one field goal attempt (35 yards) and was 3-for-3 on extra points before he was waived on August 30.

Cincinnati also added linebacker Tim Knicky and fullback James Develin to the practice squad, with fullback Joe Tronzo having his p-squad contract terminated.
