The Cincinnati Bengals have signed first-year defensive tackle Clinton McDonald off the practice squad.

Safety Rico Murray has been waived to add McDonald to the 53-man roster.

A 2009 seventh-round pick (249th overall) out Memphis, the 6-2, 290-pound McDonald spent his entire rookie season, and the first eight weeks of this season, on the Bengals' practice squad.

In two pre-seasons' worth of action, McDonald has 18 tackles and 1.5 quarterback sacks.
