Bengals DE Antwan Odom Facing 4-Game Suspension

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's steroid policy, Dave Biddle of ThreeWayChili.com reports.

Biddle adds that Odom is appealing the suspension, which Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com has confirmed.

Odom (6-5, 275) was the NFL's Defensive Player of the Month last September. Despite missing the final 10 games of the season to an Achilles' tendon injury, Odom led the Bengals in quarterback sacks in 2009 with 8.

The 28-year old was a second-round pick (57th overall) out of Alabama by the Tennessee Titans in 2004. Odoms has twice landed on IR (2006, 2009), and has 127 tackles and 23.5 sacks in his 70-game NFL career.
