Bears to Sign LB Brian Iwuh

Michael C. Wright of ESPNChicago.com reports the Chicago Bears will sign veteran free agent linebacker Brian Iwuh to an undisclosed contract.

The Bears are at their 80-man off-season roster limit, and will need to release a player before signing Iwuh, who participated in this weekend's mini-camp on a tryout basis.

Signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Colorado in 2006, Iwuh appeared in 58 games for the Jaguars over the last four seasons, totaling 83 tackles, 45 of which came as a core member of Jacksonville's special teams units.

Once signed, the 26-year old Iwuh will add veteran depth at outside linebacker for the Bears.
