Adam Jones to Work Out for Bengals

Free agent cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones is working out for the Cincinnati Bengals today, reports Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Jones worked out for the Bengals in February, and worked out for scouts in New Orleans on March 19, but did not receive a contract offer from any of the NFL teams who took in his workout.

The former West Virginia Mountaineer was the sixth overall pick of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, but hasn't been on an NFL roster since he was released by the Dallas Cowboys last February.

In 39 career games, Jones has 146 tackles and 4 interceptions, as well as a 25.8-yard kick return average, and 9.6-yard punt return average. Jones returned four punts for touchdowns during his first two seasons in the NFL, but off-field issues have led to multiple suspensions, which has limited Jones to just nine games since 2006, all of which came with the Cowboys during the 2008 season.
