Matthew Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that San Francisco 49ers top personnel executive Trent Baalke personally attended the pre-Supplemental draft workout of fullback/h-back Vanness Emokpae on July 6.

Emokpae (5-11, 240) was an All-Mid-American Conference honorable mention selection in 2009 after leading the Bulldogs in rushing (524) and receiving (365) yards, with a team-high 26 receptions and 9 total touchdowns. Emokpae was used all over the field, taking direct snaps in "Wildcat" packages and returning six kicks for 151 yards, with a long of 62 yards.

Overall, Emokpae ran for 529 yards and 5 touchdowns, while adding 83 receptions for 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns during his career. Emokpae also punted seven times for 221 yards in 2007.
