Reports: Mike Daniels Gets Raise, T.J. Lang Fined
Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels received a raise while offensive lineman T.J. Lang received a fine.
Those were a pair of reports from Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com on Friday.
Daniels' salary in 2015 will rise from $660,000 to $1.574 million, per Demovsky:
The increase was part of the rookie wage scale added to the collective bargaining agreement that was negotiated in 2011. Players drafted in Rounds 3-7 can receive what's called a "proven performance escalator" by playing at least 35 percent of the offensive or defensive snaps in two of their first three seasons.
Lang, meanwhile, received a fine stemming from his conduct in last Sunday's divisional round playoff game:
#Packers G T.J. Lang was fined $8,268 for his unsportsmanlike penalty vs. Cowboys.
