The offense is the Packers defense - Rarely if ever works well as a championship model. Just ask the 2011 GB Packers. I really like watching this team, even more than last years 13 & 3 team, but unless they figure out how to be even marginally better on defense and special teams, they won't be going to the dance. A very entertaining football team, just probably not a Super Bowl Champion.

Or does the Packer defense make it possible for the offense to be the Packer defense? I know this is really deep.

So your saying Kansas City won’t be going to the dance either? They are ranked 17th in total yards given up on defense while The Packers are 8th.
It’s easy to to rip the defense but when you look at the NFL league stats they are doing better then all this negative talk.

I must agree. I just don’t think our D has shown enough consistency to take us all the way. Coming up against better teams in the playoffs, I think it’s unrealistic to expect us to put up 30/35 per game. Sure hope I’m wrong. GPG

"Packers offense is the Packers defense".
Just seems like a silly title for an article and doesn't make much sense. It's going to take a complete team to win the Lombardi Trophy. Perhaps you would think that when Favre and team won the Super Bowl in 1996 that the Packers' defense was the Packers' offense since that year White, Brown, Dotson, and company were ranked number one in the NFL and a kick returner was voted the most valuable player of the game. Nevertheless, each facet of a team must do their job to win...that's why it's call a "team sport".

Coach Pettine needs to do his homework down the stretch here. Defense will require motivation, and the GBP winning spirit and philosophy in their souls in order to play at their highest level every game from here out. They'll need strict focus, use your instincts, hustle and blinding speed to the ball. Hit hard and make tackles and prevent that big play in order to prevent losing momentum. Strike hard at the ball and punch that fucker out every chance you get. Let's do it guys, one game at a time. Remember, offense wins games and defense wins CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Green Bay Packers future is bright, fruitful, and positive. The light is shining down on Lambeau Field. Blessings to all. Go Pack Go !
