I just want to say, let's savor Rodgers winning the MVP. On average this would happen every 32 years. The Packers success in winning this award is pretty unbelievable and reflects our joy in being able to cheer for such great players on our team. How would you like to be a Loins fan? I hope 50 years don't pass until the next time a Packer wins the MVP again.

You don't have to remind me at all. All my friends and relatives are Bear fans so the 70's & 80's were brutal! GPG!

He'll probably win it again next year, but probably won't be a Packer...

My relatives and friends are all Bear fans, what chance to you think Jay Cutler has of getting into the HOF within the next 50 years?

I hate the fortnight leading up to the SB (unless it's my team in it).

That dead period after the draft but before training camp, is pretty dire, too.

Congrats to Aaron Rodgers on his 4th MVP award...How frick'n awesome is that? Lambeau Field and GreenBay has been extremely blessed with an all-star lineup of great QuarterBacks. From Bart Starr, to Lynn Dickey, Don Majkowski, Brett Favre and finally Aaron Rodgers. What an all star line up. Starr was so smart, quick to adjust with a hell of an arm. Lynn Dickey....I don't think I've ever seen a QB that could thread a needle better. A cannon of an arm with laser like accuracy..just awesome to watch. Farve and Rogers....there aren't enough superlatives to describe these two men. Both had an undeniable love for the game. Highly respected by their peers, coaches and fans alike. When you perform at this level, your confidence and football sense is unmatched. Multiple MVP awards between the two and records of such that most teams only dream of achieving. How many other organizations can boast of rosters as such? I believe Rodgers said this, “great players want to play with great quarterbacks”, it’s true. What receiver wouldn’t want to play catch with Starr, Lynn Dickey, Majkowski, Favre and or Rodgers?
GreenBay is a special place, and Lambeau Field is of sacred ground. When you talk of football, Lambeau Field and the GeenBay Packers usually find their way into the conversation. The Packers and Lambeau Field represent traditions and foundational principles that we’ve all come to respect, expect and regard from professional football. My point here, we as Packers fans take so much for granted. Much like the St. Louis Cardinals baseball organization. A tradition in baseball much like the Packers are to football. St. Louis is so accustom to winning that when they fall short, for the fans they own it, it’s gut wrenching, but fan support never wavers. Much like GreenBay, where the fans own it, it too is gut wrenching when the Packers fall short, but the fans are always behind the team. The heavy naysayers are always the talking heads…the press, the ones that feel they know more than the fans. They speak from a platform to spew their ilk where the weak minded drink the swirl. They fan the flames where there’s smoke and disappear when facts dispute their swirl.
I’ve read and listened enough from the talking heads on this board stirring the masses on the blame game surrounding the Packers early post season exit. All on Rodgers, but giving Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst a virtual golden pass. Why don’t you call it the way it is? Drayton was a season long failure and nothing done to correct it, WHY? Dick Vermeil once said, “football is a balancing act of three teams, failure on one leads to failure on all’. Vince Lombardi once said, “you don’t do things right once and awhile, you do things right all of the time”. Do ya think for a minute Lombardi would’ve put up with that circus act of a special teams disaster all season long….HELL NO!! Butt heads on this board choose to vilify Rodgers, put the loss squarely on his performance, while he receives his fourth MVP. True Packer fans know where the blame lays for this, and it certainly isn’t on our MVP QuarterBack Aaron Rodgers. Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst, for not addressing Drayton’s special needs team, is the ONLY reason the Packers failed to succeed this season! I’ve been fortunate in my life to have seen three Packer games at Lambeau. Once under Lynn Dickey, once under Majkowski and once under Favre. I will tell you I feel blessed to have seen those three play. I unfortunately never got the chance to see Rogers play. I will tell you this in closing. It boils my blood to come on this board, knowing what I saw in that last game, to read and listen to the ilk some have spewed regarding Aaron Rodgers. Flat out you know who you are,.........you belong in LA, NY or even Chicago, BUT YOU SURE AS HELL DON’T BELONG IN...OR TO... GREENBAY!

For such a devoted Packers fan, you would think you would know it's Don Majkowski, not Randy Majkowski. And that it's Rodgers, not Rogers. And that he hasn't won 4 CONSECUTIVE MVPs. 2011. 2014, 2020, 2021 aren't consecutive years.

But, other than that, you seem like a great fan.

I stand corrected and thank you for pointing out my mistakes. I did think this was his 4th consecutive, sorry for the error. I admit the Don mistake was my anger while posting this. I should've re-read before dropping this but my anger over this Rodgers deal has my blood boiling. LaFleur and Gutekunst screwed this season by not addressing Drayton and the Special Teams dysfunction. But nobody cares to publicly address it. Rodgers is the easier target. Again thank you for the corrections.

Lol... Everyone, and I mean everyone on earth was calling for Drayton's firing, publicly. (At least everyone on the Packer's Blogs...) ;P

STs screwed the pooch for sure, but A-a-Ron didn't play like an MVP last year in the NFCCG or this year in the Divisional round. If you can't show up at crunch time, what good does it do to have the regular season MVP?

I want my MVP to see the WR running wide open and hit him for the 1st down, not throw up a 30/70 ball to a guy who was double-covered on 3rd down...
