I stopped at Aaron's Ice Cream shop and ordered: One Nothing Burger with nothing on it- I'll put on my own horse radish sauce; batter-dipped fries, and the beautiful mystery shake- not sure what's in it but it made me full.

The problem with invoking "the people" is that that is generally a term reserved for political movements in which the people are striving toward equality (a union?) against an evil corporation.

Aaron Rodgers may get the most done of any Packer, but he's not one of the Hoi Polloi seeking what is best for the people.

He's the CEO, the BEST paid guy in the entire organization, the sort of guy that people's movements are trying to take down.

He's creating a false paradigm here and acting like a spoiled child, even though he's in the best possible situation.

It's not about the people. It's about a narcissist who can't stand getting everything he wants.

It also proves he's not actually as smart or academically inclined as the media would have us believe, because any halfway smart 5th grader would see through this obvious attempt at propaganda.

Sorry Rodgers, you are not one of the downtrodden masses seeking equality.

Rodgers' attempt at spin on this situation fell short in my eyes, too. No, this is not about the people. This is about him. "The people" don't have a problem. He does.

And really, when it comes to the Packers, it is the opposite anyways. The legacy of the organization was built by players that put team first. They sacrificed their individuality for the greater good. He's not doing that. He's putting himself first.

It’s about the people... unless they offer him enough guaranteed years and money. Then it’s all about AR again. Too funny! Let’s move on already.

It's about the people being right.//// Actually, I think Rodgers should have put it this way. How many pro players will play for Gute? How many pro players did he inherit? How many will leave? How many left? Etc. Reading between the lines is easy. When the universal language is between them.

Bakhtiari, Clark and Jones all re-signed with Guety. Unlike the QB, most guys don't really care who the GM is if the contract is fair.

Rodgers was signed. And everything was A -ok at that time. I say Guys sign to win. And you only have to look at the Patriots. Still Gutey did re-sign them.
