Packers vs. Vikings Game Predictions from CheeseheadTV.com

 GAME PREDICTIONS Week 16

Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Adam 16-0 Green Bay Packers
Jersey Al 6-8 Green Bay Packers 24 - 12
The Vikings would like nothing more than to come in to Lambeau Field and "stick it" to the Packers. They will not have that satisfaction, however. The only real question is which Packers defense will show up? Will they generate any pass rush at all or let Sam Bradford sit in the pocket and pick apart the Packers' young secondary? One plus - Adrian Peterson has just been deemed "out" for the game, so that's a little less the defense has to worry about.
Andrew 8-6 Green Bay Packers 24-10
The Vikings were shattered last week, though I suspect they'll actually remember to leave the lockerroom this weekend in Lambeau. That said, the Packers are on fire right now and the Vikings defense, while likely to rebound, won't rebound enough to make a difference. Plus, the Minnesota offense is hot garbage, Adrian Peterson or no. This should be over by halftime
Cory 9-5 Green Bay Packers 27-16
The Vikings are literally limping to the finish line. Last week defensive tackle Tom Johnson and No. 2 wideout Adam Thielen were hurt and will probably not play. In addition, free safety Harrison Smith may not be roaming in the defensive backfield as he continues to nurse an ankle injury. Juxtapose that with a Packers’ offense that is rolling right now and I don’t see how Minnesota keeps it close. This is the perfect game for Jared Cook to explode.
Jason 10-4 Green Bay Packers 31-27
Despite Minnesota being on the road and in the elements late in the season, I see this one being closer than many think. The Packers can make a fool of me by shutting down Adrian Peterson and actually taking Sam Bradford down versus just getting close.  No Harrison Smith likely means Aaron Rodgers & Co put up some points and no one wants to try and tackle Ty Montgomery.  All I want for Christmas is a solid defensive performance by the Pack (and a win).
Jayme 8-6 Green Bay Packers 28-21
I'll stick with my lucky score prediction...
Michelle 8-6 Green Bay Packers 28-20
The late-season 2016 Packers are a very different team than the one that met the Vikings early in the season. And the Vikings, who got off to one of the hottest starts in the league, cooled off at the wrong time. The Packers could still clinch the division, and control their own destiny. That's all the motivation they need.
Ross 9-5 Green Bay Packers 27-11
This game is likely meaningless in the big picture.  Dallas is not going to start Tony Romo over Dak Prescott and fuel that fire just because they won the division with the Giants loss.  They aren't going to shelf Zeke Elliot (chasing an MVP either).  This one is for style points and the off chance that the Packers get in with a loss at Detroit.  All in all the Packers were probably going to pick this season split up either way.  The Vikings weren't very good this season, certainly not good enough to threaten the "Run the Table" dream at Lambeau Field.
Zach 8-6 Green Bay Packers 20-13
Having so many players injured may be too much to overcome for the Vikings. Last time they were at Lambeau, they got the best of the Packers, but not this time. The surging home team wins their fifth straight,
Mr. X 8-6 Green Bay Packers 27-9
This will be a statement game for the Packers. Are they contenders or pretenders? I say they make a strong statement.

Packers vs Bears?
I predict Ty will carry 16 times for 162 yards, and Michael will have a TD run of over 40 yards.
Just got a feeling in my football bones.

Packers 33-20. Bradford has a couple moments against secondary to keep it respectable. Viking defense is actually pretty good so scoring 33 may be a stretch. None-the-less Packers go to 9-6.

Unlike in Week 2 the Packers offense has hit their stride and their OL is playing as well as any in the league. The Packers defense played well enough to win back in week 2 and I see that happening again playing at home. While the Vikes may have tape on Monty they have not played against him live and that has been a learning experience for previous opponents. I like the Pack 28-10. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

The Queens skidded off the runway a few weeks ago already, I think...

The lovely thing about the Vikings is that they were good enough to surrender a first round draft pick and more for "Sam, I am, BADford." That will be the gift that keeps on giving. Still can't believe some pundits were actually praising the move a few months ago.

Oh yeah, and they drafted Laquon Treadwell, too. That was nice.

If they can't get any QB pressure against this O-Line, I'll be shocked. Clemons is just terrible and any speed will give him trouble. Vikes TE's will have some success over the middle where Pack pass D is weakest, but I don't think they can score more than 17. Pack gets 4 sacks and 2 more TO's and roll, 27-13.

Breaking news, TT was seen at Austen Strabel airport with a fire hose flooding the end of the runway. This game will be like the seachicken game. Pack in a blow out. Merry Christmas.

The report I read said he'd brought in a UDFA ILB to flood the end of the runway.

Four weeks ago, I picked the Eagles to beat the Packers 27-13...Packers won.

Three weeks ago, I picked the Texans to beat the Packers 27-13...Packers won.

Two weeks ago, I picked the Seahawks to beat the Packers 27-13...Packers won.

Last week, I picked the Bears to beat the Packers 27-13...Packers won.

Vikings 27-13.

This game will give me a 3-in-a-row season ending sweep of my buddies who give me crap any time one of their "teams" does anything remotely positive (seachickens, bearlies, queens). Bragging rights and the fact that the Pack is the better team right now means a win for the good guys.

Pack rolls...32-14.
